Redminx is working in association with the suppliers of Eco-Stand, the eco-friendly exhibition stand. 1.3 tonnes of carbon emissions are offset on behalf of every Eco-Stand customer – to design and produce planet friendly super looking exhibition stands.

How does that fit in with Eco-Stands and our clients?

Eco-Stands are working with an organisation called Climate Care to play our part in tackling climate change.

The benefit to our clients is that we purchase carbon offsetting to offset any carbon created by the manufacture of each Eco-Stand and the carbon created by up to 3500 miles driven by the user of the display. Each client will receive a certificate to demonstrate the carbon offset for their records.

Climate Care run projects across the world. As well as cutting greenhouse gasses, the projects help to improve people’s standard of living and protect wildlife habitats. To find out more visit www.climatecare.org

What is Carbon Offsetting?

Each time we heat our homes, take a flight or drive the car, CO² is added into the atmosphere. CO² is a greenhouse gas that is released when fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal are burnt.

Offsetting means paying someone to reduce CO² in the atmosphere by the same amount that your activities add. In this way you can ‘neutralise’ or ‘balance’ the CO² added by your activities.
